Description

Welcoming individuals interested in serving Watsonville's NDMVA program by becoming an AmeriCorps member for a local school, food bank, or women's shelter. Members starting in January have the opportunity to serve with Fitness4Life, an outdoor/healthy eating education program for local middle schools; Moreland Notre Dame's 5th grade math/literacy groups, or with PV Shelter Services, providing job readiness and financial wellness support for women and youth experiencing homelessness in Watsonville. In addition to service at their primary site, our members join a diverse team of 5-10 supportive and dedicated individuals for a week-long orientation, biweekly meetings, and team service projects throughout the year. Candidates may apply for a specific site (school, food bank or shelter), or indicate an order of preference when they apply.

$1390 - $1400 monthly
