Description

Baltimore Team Members will serve at the following organizations:
- Immigration Outreach Service Center
- Boys Hope Girls Hope Baltimore
- Safe Alternative Foundation for Education
- Clay Pots ... A Place to Grow
- Refugee Youth Project
- Julie Community Center

NDA members are assigned to full-time partnering sites where the bulk of their service takes place. Additionally, they participate in team meetings and group projects that add to their training and community involvement. Day-to-day tasks differ depending on the service site, but may include: program management, teacher's aide/assistant duties, adult education, youth enrichment activities, and service specific to those impacted by incarceration. All members participate in Notre Dame-AmeriCorps activities along with their fellow NDA members from other sites in Baltimore. These activities include group service projects, training workshops, and reflection sessions. Members gather once every two weeks for workshops and planning sessions, and are encouraged to form a community of peers during outside hours.
