Description

We at Notre Dame Mission Volunteers/Americorps believe that education is the fundamental tool in the struggle for human dignity, self-esteem and self-determination. In Bend, members serve youth and adults in various non-profit community agencies from homeless shelters to after school programs and we are looking for dynamic individuals committed to the concept of helping people to help themselves by providing them with support in the areas of education, financial literacy, life skills, job-readiness and youth development. NDMVA Bend has a partnership with a non-profit agency, the Bend Volunteer Community, that offers support to members in a number of ways, including supporting apartment rentals guaranteed to be available to members as well as intentional community opportunities.
