Goal of this Position: To research and seek additional resource opportunities in the support of Promise programming within the Promise Zone, a geographic area encompassing four elementary schools on the south side of Springfield, Ohio.
Successful individuals in this role have some experience in grantwriting, fundraising, resource development and management; have strong communication skills; and are able to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time.
Projects include: Building the capacity of SPN around diverse funding streams. Researching relevant grant opportunities, creating a portfolio of materials that can be used in proposals and reports. Work with the Accountability & Assessment VISTA to update data points, illustrations, and promotional materials. Analyzing organizational funding needs, including research in entrepreneurial events, products, and alternative fundraising campaigns. Lead fundraising activities, including an annual event, to support the institutionalization of community-based fundraising in which diverse populations contribute.
