Community Awareness Coordinator- Parkway Partners

Description

As part of their responsibilities, the Public Awareness member will fulfill the following
responsibilities: The LDSC member will develop partnerships with other nonprofits by
attending and networking at local events. He or she will design and implement an outreach
plan; cultivate relationships with potential community partners and maintain existing ones;
assess outreach opportunities; develop system to track outreach effectiveness; plan, organize,
implement informational outreach events (fairs, workshops), marketing the programs, and
recruiting community partners to get involved with the programs. The Public Awareness
Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director to create a self-sustaining model
of communication and outreach.
