The Idaho Health Care for Children and Families Program, an AmeriCorps Program, is currently looking for a positive and energetic individual to serve at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate may participate with other service organizations during health fairs or community events. The candidate will have strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently as well as on a team. This position requires someone who can multi-task and prioritize projects and who is detail oriented.

Additional Benefits
• Living stipend $12,530, education award $5,775, reimbursement for health insurance (if needed) $1,320 for a potential total package $19,580 (If qualify for child care, the potential reimbursement exceeds $20,900 per year.)

Desired Certifications or Qualifications
Minimum Eligibility/Qualifications:
– Be 18 years of age or older.
– Be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
– Be able to complete 1700 total hours over one full year. Start date late September 1, 2016.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Valid Driver’s License, insurance, and reliable transportation.
– Pass a Background Check
– Interest in Health Care and the Underserved
– Knowledge of Medical Terminology (not required but preferred)
