Description
The Rebuilding Together national office is looking to hire a part-time 20hr/wk (900hr term) AmeriCorps
Project Coordinator with a Fall 2023 start date.
A well-run, safe rebuilding project requires a lot of planning and skill behind the scenes to ensure that all
stakeholders come together to have an impactful, uplifting project day. As the AmeriCorps Project
Coordinator, you will ensure successful events for all national projects through the creation of a suite of
affiliate-facing resources to train volunteers in project day expectations. Examples of these trainings will be
on job-site safety, day-of expectations, and volunteer biases. You will coordinate with affiliates to gather
examples of current practices and collaborate with other national office teams to ensure stakeholder buy-in
to create training manuals and/or virtual trainings that can easily be shared and replicated throughout the
affiliate network. In this position, you will support the project management processes of the national office,
particularly in the lead up to national office-funded projects, including tracking project status, project
budget tracking, and hospitality management. You may also travel in this position, as needed, to support
affiliate project capacity through the coordination and management of on-site logistics and volunteer
management.
Again, this is a part-time position, which is ideal for candidates that have served a previous AmeriCorps
term, are a part-time student, have a part-time job, retirees or candidates that have other life commitments
preventing you from signing on full-time.
