For over 30 years, the Conservation Trust for North Carolina has helped save the places you love – streams, forests, farms, scenic vistas, wildlife habitat, parks, and trails. The Conservation Trust for North Carolina is the host organization for Resilience Corps NC, a 11-month national service program in environmental education, community capacity building, and disaster resilience. Resilience Corps NC is also an AmeriCorps Disaster Response Team, designated by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Resilience Corps NC aims to meet our partners where they live and where their culture flourishes. In addition to achieving your needs and goals as an organization, Resilience Corps NC has four main program goals: (1) Developing environmental education programs that are more accessible and inclusive for diverse audiences; (2) Providing capacity building for organizations and communities to become disaster resilient; (3) Building bridges between environmental organizations/programs and under-served communities; and (4) Connecting more North Carolinians to the outdoors
