Description
YouthBuild USA seeks AmeriCorps VISTA members to inject energy, talent, and a spirit of service into our work of increasing the number out of school young adults between the ages of 16-24 who attain a GED/ high school diploma, enter college, and gain meaningful employment. This position will build capacity by collecting, researching, and disseminating best practices in all areas of the YouthBuild model, but especially in building partnerships and career pathways in rural communities. This position will also focus on enhancing an annual gathering of rural youth, as well as developing communication and training resources specific for our Central Appalachian Regional Network and New Mexico Regional Network.
