USFS Herb Crew Leader

Program Overview:
Lead a unique team of 4 dynamic individuals along with an Assistant Crew Leader, partnering with the USFS in the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests. Teams will travel and camp in remote locations, treating invasive species, and working in a team environment. Must be willing to learn the ins and outs of invasive plant management, herbicides, federal land management, and environmental service. The right candidate will be available from May- August.
Requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship
• Permanent Resident Card, INS form I-551
• Alien Registration Card, INS form I-551
• A passport indicating that the INS has approved it as temporary evidence of lawful admission for permanent residence
• A departure record (INS 194) indication that the INS has approved it as temporary evidence of lawful admission for permanent residence
• Driver's License, with a clean driving record
• Be between the ages of 21-25
• Able to pass a pre-service National Criminal History check (State, Sex Offender, and Federal)
