Faith. Service. Friendship. Vincentian Volunteers of Cincinnati provides young adults ages 21-30 an opportunity to grow in faith, friendship and service by working directly to respond to the needs of individuals in the Cincinnati community who struggle with basic resources such as food, clothing, medicine, rent and utilities. VVC members serve full-time with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, gaining excellent professional experience in a work placement that matches their gifts and interests with the needs of the community, including areas such as direct social services, choice food pantry, charitable pharmacy, service learning immersion retreat programming, fundraising/marketing, and logistics and data management. Vincentian Volunteers live in intentional community and participate in regular leadership development and personal, spiritual growth opportunities. Room and board; health and renters' insurance; monthly personal and phone stipends; an education award upon completion of service; and assistance in seeking loan deferment provided. Spending a year with VVC: * Our neighbors in need receive person-to-person service on a daily basis. * St. Vincent de Paul benefits from dedicated, passionate, mission-focused young professionals, like you. * You walk away with marketable professional experience and a life-long passion for faith and justice, in solidarity with those in need. Surround yourself with mentors, supervisors, colleagues and a live-in community that care about you and want to support and accompany you as you spend this year in active self-discovery and growth, as you give of yourself freely to a world in need. That is VVC.
