Description

The Child Abuse Prevention Council of Sacramento intends to embark upon a coordinated effort to build community awareness of the 20+ agencies with which we partner to deliver services to families and foster youth in the Sacramento area. The VISTA member will work with the CAPC AmeriCorps and program teams to expand community outreach, build social media presence through active posting and coordination with partner agencies, and promote the transformational impact of our programs on populations with whom we work through Partner Agency, AmeriCorps Member and Program Beneficiary profiles. Our partner agencies will become more efficient and effective through increased community awareness, resulting in an increase in volunteer and national service participant interest, retention and new partnerships with institutions of higher learning and local business/foundations.
