Description
Dawson Promise is a program at Dawson Community College aimed at helping unaccompanied youth, homeless youth, or youth aging out of the foster care system to obtain a two-year education without student debt. In this position, you will support the Dawson Promise program in recruiting and supporting a team of college AmeriCorps members to provide near-peer mentorship to low-income and first-generation high school students. You will provide academic mentorship to students, organize workshops on topics such as financial aid, college applications, etc., and implement community service projects.
