Description
Marian House is a women-centered program co-sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and the School Sisters of Notre Dame. Marian House's mission is similar to that of the founding mission of the Sisters of Mercy as it is a home for women and their children who are marginalized and in need of love and care to improve their situation. They offer housing, case management, financial literacy support, job readiness programs, etc. A volunteer is needed to serve as a Family Program Assistant, providing a supportive presence to residents and their children through assisting with case management, childcare support during women’s groups, and planning programming and events.
