  • About Us
Mercy Volunteer Corps promotes social change by placing and supporting volunteers for one year of service with people who are experiencing injustices, in any form, in the United States and Guyana, South America. Mercy Volunteers work in education, healthcare, and social services while growing spiritually and living simply in community. Volunteers are provided housing, transportation, health insurance, and a monthly stipend. Throughout the service year, volunteers have multiple opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • Our Impact
Mercy Volunteers advocate for justice in the critical concerns of anti-racism, non-violence, immigration, women, and earth. Volunteers empower and support individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, under or uninsured, food insecure, immigrants or refugees, have limited access to education, elderly, those with disabilities, and other marginalized populations. Volunteers work as nurses, teachers, outreach coordinators, aides, therapists, activities coordinators, patient advocates, and more.
