Description

Mercy Medical Center is a community hospital located in downtown Baltimore where a diverse population is served. It was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1874 to address the dearth of healthcare services available to the underserved and continues to stay true to that mission today. Mercy Medical Center is one of the few hospitals in the nation with a Magnet designation. The campus includes a state-of-the-art, 300-bed patient tower. A volunteer is needed to serve as a Registered Nurse. The volunteer will work in any unit that matches the volunteer’s skills/interests. Past volunteers have served in the Mother/Baby Unit and Emergency Department, and on the COVID response team.
