I want to serve because I think that one person can make a huge difference in the world, whether helping people directly or contributing to the world around them. I have been raised as a caring and compassionate person, that helped to take care of my special needs little brother. I have been volunteering ever since I joined my elementary school's K-Club sponsored by our local Kiwanas chapter. In the summer when there were no clubs to serve with I gave my time to my public libraries summer kids programs, shelving books and teaching local kids how to make educational crafts. Having attended college for a few semesters I long to jump back into something that is bigger than myself.
Floridian born and raised! I love being outside and working with nature. An animal lover! I aspire to do work that makes a difference!
