While each affiliate's specific project objectives are unique, the general project outline for Marketing VISTAs remains the same: develop marketing plan in alignment with the organization's strategic goals; create materials such as brochures, flyers, videos, and presentations; research and implement sustainable social networking plans; organize special events.

Service Activities

Activities include creating marketing materials to aid with volunteer recruitment, ReStore promotions, and advertising housing opportunities; researching best practices and uses of materials available on the my.habitat website; creating digital content for the organization's website(s) and social media accounts; developing solicitation materials for special events and build needs; assisting with special event planning and organization.

Position Outcomes

The goal is to increase awareness of local Habitat for Humanity affiliates and ReStores in order to raise more money, recruit more volunteers, and connect with more potential partner families to help them gain or maintain affordable homeownership.
