Description
The AmeriCorps Community and Energy Outreach Corpsmember (ages 18-25) is based with the Center for Energy and Environment (CEE). The primary objectives of the Community Outreach Corpsmember position is for helping meet the recruitment goals for the Home Energy Squad Program (HES), delivered by CEE and administering the youth education program. The Community Outreach Corpsmember is responsible for increasing awareness of and participation in HES by conducting community-based marketing in partnering cities, businesses and neighborhood organizations and administering and improving the youth energy education program, TOLBY (Turn Off Lights Behind You) by conducting outreach to schools and youth groups to grow the reach of the program.
