Description
Are you ready to join us in "helping those that need us most?" Our AmeriCorps members serve students in Martin County's 5 middle schools, with the opportunity to provide critical mentoring services for middle school students. You would be assigned a caseload of students to meet with throughout the week and be a positive mentor for those that are struggling with grades, attendance, and/or behavior.
Our AmeriCorps members also participate in high quality professional development sessions and service projects throughout the year. Working through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Martin County, you can count on an impactful year of service. We offer a bi-weekly living stipend, great benefits, and after you service is completed you qualify for a generous education award that can go towards paying tuition or resolving student debt.
