Are you ready to join us in "helping those that need us most?" Our AmeriCorps members serve students in Martin County's 4 elementary schools. AmeriCorps members have the to opportunity to work with elementary school students to build their literacy skills daily. This is done in small groups with K-3rd graders, a curriculum is provided and you will be trained on how to best deliver these lessons and make them your own!
Our AmeriCorps members also participate in high quality professional development sessions and service projects throughout the year. Working through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Martin County, you can count on an impactful year of service. We offer a bi-weekly living stipend, great benefits, and after you service is completed, you qualify for a generous education award that can go towards paying tuition or resolving student debt.
