Based in Houston, TX - Harvey Strike Team Members will serve on a crew of five while improving low-income homes affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Project sites crews will work a regular 8-5pm, Monday-Friday schedule. Crews meet at our office and get to and from their project sites using our vehicles, driven by the crew leaders.

Service Activities

Harvey Strike Teams will perform home repair and reconstruction. In addition they will address any additional needs such as muck and gut (removing damaged drywall, flooring) of homes and mold remediation.

Community Need Addressed

Known for our immediate response to disasters, Texas Conservation Corps' is taking the next step in disaster recovery. Our Harvey Strike Teams will focus on long term recovery efforts in the Houston area. These AmeriCorps members will help rebuild and repair low income homes affected by Hurricane Harvey.
