Description
Economic Development Corps is a AmeriCorps National Service Program committed to fighting poverty and helping individuals achieve economic self-sufficiency through financial education and training. EDC members serve in no-profit and educational institutions across Buffalo, NY acting as financial coaches to decrease the number of economically disadvantaged individuals with a special focus on Opportunity Youth. EDC members will conduct one on one financial training, assist in acquiring public benefits, job skill training, and support family needs through intervention programs.
