Something that surprised me is...

My Communities in Schools AmeriCorps team is amazing! I have moved to a state and city that I've never been before and they really make me feel welcome. If I have questions, they answer with no judgment. I have faced many personal struggles in my first few weeks and they have been so understanding. Being so far away from my support system has been difficult, but I've gain this team! I can't wait for the rest of this year!!!
