I would like to serve in order to better understand the needs of a community and how my abilities can influence a positive change.
I have always had a desire to learn, especially through my experiences. I was a Girl Scout for 10 years and received the Bronze and Silver Awards for projects completed to help my community. My heritage is strongly Hispanic/ Latin, I can understand and communicate conversational Spanish. I hope that by helping a community I can learn even more about others and myself.
