Description
AmeriCorps members will assist Communities in Schools site coordinators with the implementation of the CIS model at Flag View
Intermediate School, Southside Elementary and at Adobe Middle School. The members will provide mentoring and will also assist with recruitment of volunteers to help with the hunger prevention program, tutoring, guest speakers at the school and mentors to assist students in areas such as reading and math. The members will also provide mentoring and supportive guidance for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students
and assist with the planning and implementation of a parent involvement program.
