Description

The overall goal of this project is to connect families with fundamental basic resources so they can have the capacity to invest their limited financial means to improving their family’s health, stability, and outcomes.

The cost of living in Missoula makes it difficult for families to acquire the essentials they need at an affordable price. Mountain Home Montana receives calls daily from families or service providers working with local families requesting basic needs, such as diapers, baby clothes, hygiene products, home supplies, etc. because families cannot afford these items. Mountain Home Montana provides housing, case management, therapy, education, employment support, childcare, and more to moms aged 16 – 29. Your service will build capacity for Mountain Home to serve even more families and help ensure they have access to what they need to live a healthy, safe, and just life.

This VISTA project will move low-income families out of poverty by connecting them with zero to low-cost essential resources so that they focus their financial investments on housing, employment, education, and healthcare access. Located in Missoula, MT!
