  • About Us
MCVP is an AmeriCorps VISTA Intermediary, meaning we work with nonprofits and government agencies across the state of Montana to place talented AmeriCorps VISTA members. VISTAs (Volunteers in Service to America) are members of AmeriCorps who commit to 365 days of service with one organization (called a "host site") to alleviate poverty in their community.

MCVP develops VISTA projects in three focus areas - Healthy Futures, Economic Opportunity, and Education. VISTAs support their host site organization by creating sustainable change and systems through activities like fundraising, grant writing, research, volunteer recruitment, technical training, and more!
  • Our Impact
MCVP works proactively to address a variety of community needs across the state of Montana. These projects encompass a range of goals, such as increasing access to nutritious foods, increasing access to healthcare through expanding the capacity of preventive and primary health care services and programs, reducing school drop-out rates and improving attendance, and helping low income individuals transition into or remain in safe, affordable housing. MCVP projects benefit rural and urban communities across Montana.
