I want to serve so that I can make an impact on the children of Miami-Dade. To help them see the power in education and why they should continue. In my hometown I witnessed many of my peers drop out of school for multiple reasons or succumb to the street life. After seeing this I wanted to be able to make a difference and show them that where you start isn't where you will finish.
