Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

  • About Us
The Boys and Girls Club is an organization dedicated to providing young people with a safe, positive, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and develop into responsible, caring adults. With over 200 Clubs across Indiana, we strive to empower young people to reach their full potential.

Our Project ACES (Accelerating Children through Education Support) Corps program is a key part of our mission. ACES Corps is designed to help children who are struggling in school to improve their academic performance, build self-confidence, and develop the skills they need to succeed in life. Our dedicated AmeriCorps members provide one-on-one and small group tutoring, mentoring, and coaching to children in need. The program focuses on improving reading and math skills, as well as providing social-emotional support to help children build resilience and positive relationships. ACES Corps members also work with parents and caregivers to help them support their children's academic and social-emotional development.
  • Our Impact
Our Project ACES (Accelerating Children through Education Support) Corps program has been making a positive impact throughout Indiana since 2008. Since then, over 3,000 dedicated AmeriCorps members have served with at-risk youth, providing education and healthy lifestyle programming to help children reach their full potential. These Corps members have worked alongside 20,913 volunteers, who have provided over 150,000 hours of service to local Clubs and communities.

Our members serve in after-school settings, providing academic enrichment and/or healthy lifestyle programming. In the 2021-2022 program year, 142 AmeriCorps members served 25,401 youth across 31 different host sites.
