Description
The Community Partner Program (ComPP) builds capacity for nonprofits, schools, government agencies, etc. by providing volunteer solutions through management strategy, consulting, technology, and recruitment. Through strategic, diverse community partnerships and Collective Volunteerism, ComPP fosters and promotes strategic volunteer engagement that creates viable and valuable solutions to complex social issues facing the community.
Service activities include:conduct proactive outreach with HON’s existing Community Partners, including phone calls, site visits, and website investigations; research and outreach to potential new partners; assist with conducting workshops/training sessions; provide reports to Community Partners; answer questions and serve as a resource to HON’s Community Partners; work alongside HON staff to develop new trainings and initiatives; volunteer and Community Partner database upkeep and maintenance. Additionally: work with stakeholders around Youth/Education volunteer engagement in designated neighborhood, including helping to identify needs, creating volunteer-focused solutions, and implementing project management of those solutions.
