The GoodSkills Literacy Corps is an AmeriCorps program within RGI that provides one on one and small group Literacy Tutoring services to adults needing to improve basic fundamental skills.

    Goodwill serves individuals with barriers to employment...individuals who fall between the cracks of other services and need a helping hand to learn how to be independent. The Virginia GoodSkills Literacy Corps is a community based literacy organization, powered by AmeriCorps, that allows people to receive tutoring services, free of charge, at a speed that works for their individual needs.

Virginia GoodSkills Literacy Corps

The Virginia GoodSkills Literacy Corps uses AmeriCorps members and community volunteers to provide person-centered tutoring and training services in the fundamental skill areas of Literacy, Numeracy, Digital Literacy, English for Speakers of other languages, and Financial Literacy. This happens in one on one and small group settings, within Goodwills in the Fredericksburg, Winchester, and Roanoke, Virginia areas.
