YouthPower365 engages over 3,500 students annually to provide extended year-round learning that inspires, educates, and empowers the youth and families of Eagle County. The goal of this project will be to enrich the services provided and improve family engagement through volunteerism. This will be accomplished by building a culturally responsive, comprehensive volunteer system that provides enriching and beneficial volunteer opportunities to community members. The system created will include aspects to recruit, record, and appreciate these volunteers.

Service Activities

Member Duties : The Volunteer Coordinator VISTA for YouthPower365! will be a part of a fun, mission-focused team to serve the youth of Eagle County as it develops a strong volunteer program. This is a unique opportunity for someone to use their creativity and communication skills to make a difference in their community. The Volunteer Coordinator VISTA will help YouthPower365 establish a high-quality volunteer system that engages different people from different backgrounds as they share their time and talents to help children and families. The Volunteer Coordinator VISTA will also work with staff across the organization and dozens of partners to grow this program, making connections that last a lifetime. Serving with Vail Valley Foundation’s YouthPower365 will allow this VISTA to grow personally and professionally, building important skills for future employment. Our programming reaches children as young as 3 years old through high school and beyond.
