Community Resource Center is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve in our Denver office as the Volunteer Engagement Associate VISTA member. The Volunteer Engagement Associate will support CRC’s Service Enterprise Certification work as well as support the organization’s larger volunteer engagement efforts that includes recruitment, onboarding, coordination, recognition, and retention of CRC’s diverse volunteering opportunities within the organization.

Service Activities

The VISTA will support the Service Enterprise certification and a variety of volunteer engagement strategies. Member duties include:1)Volunteer Recruitment – Develop position descriptions, post positions, interview, and screen applications the VISTA will create a qualified and diverse pool of volunteers.2)Onboard Volunteers – Accommodate the variety of volunteer positions at CRC, this candidate will develop, coordinate, and help staff implement an orientation and onboarding materials.3)Volunteer Coordination – The coordination of volunteers will mostly occur through the Colorado Grants Guide. Assist CGG volunteers with the development and revision of donor profiles.4)Recognition & Retention – The VISTA will identify and support staff with the implementation of volunteer engagement strategies.5)Service Enterprise Initiative – Take best and evidence-based practices at this initiative to further CRC’s volunteer opportunities and initiatives that will amplify the CRC’s impact in Colorado.

The CRC VISTA program creates a lasting positive impact in rural Colorado communities by supporting organizations that address basic needs, transitional housing and poverty alleviation.
