Description
The VISTA would be enrolled in a “train the trainer” workshop on mentoring techniques and best practices to develop basic teaching skills for preparing service-learning and corporate volunteer STEM mentors. The VISTA would then be available as a resource for corporate partners, informal STEM camps like Cradle Beach and other colleges who have expressed interest in contributing service learning camps for ISEP’s STEM mentoring opportunities in summer camps and after school programs.
