Michigan Foreclosure Prevention Corps Member

This position is located at the Oakland County Treasurer's Office in Pontiac, MI. This member will assist at-risk homeowners through intake, provide homeowners information about the foreclosure process, assemble paperwork and direct clients to other resources and provide follow up as needed. Member will also set up action plans and then conduct follow up as needed.

Position Outcomes

MFPC member will work with Oakland County residents to create payment plans for overdue property tax payments, resulting in homes not going into tax foreclosure.

Member will be part of a twenty member AmeriCorps State program based statewide in Michigan. Member will attend quarterly group trainings and be provided with additional funding to create an approved member development plan to meet personal goals throughout the year.
