CCCWV mission is to conduct projects and programs that: strengthen and revitalize our communities; provide self-esteem, education enhancements and employment and service opportunities through meaningful work experiences for both youth and adults; and conserve, develop, and enhance our state's natural resources.

  • About Us
    The CCCWV currently fulfills its mission through several innovative programs that include: Trails and Developmental Projects which provide community service opportunities to youth ages 16 - 24; Twin Branch Adventure Facility AmeriCorps Environmental Stewardship Program that recruits volunteers for environmental stewardship and community service projects that improve public lands in low-income communities,build hiking trails, complete stream monitoring and cleanups, and provide public education about environmental issues; Public Lands Corps projects that complete renovations and maintenance in the National Park Service system while providing work experience and imployment for youth; and the West Virginia Courtesy Patrol Project, a statewide motorist assistance program that utilizes adults as patrol operators.

    CCCWV AmeriCorps and crew members prepare for a life of self-sufficiency and self-esteem through education, work experience, community service, and life experience with projects and programs that benefit the economic, ecological, and social welfare of our communities.
