Members improve public lands in low-income communities, build and maintain hiking trails, enhance cultural heritage sites, enhance community parks, monitor and assess local streams, and provide public education about environmental issues. Members also organize and coordinate at least two service projects during their year of service, and promote and build the next generation of conservation leaders.
Service Activities
Build hiking trails, enhance community parks, provide public education and spread awareness for environmental issues and promote events for a greener, sustainable environment. Members will also monitor and assess local streams and help conduct stream cleanups, water testing, and biological assessment and training and intervention.
