Description
Ensure the VISTA team members have the tools they need to achieve project goals and maintain an antipoverty
focus. Begin working with Campus Compact staff to conduct community outreach and coordinator
a community advisory board. Work with supervisor and fellow Leader to plan site visits.
Member Activity:
1. Serve as a go to for VISTA policy and resources.
2. Collaborate with VISTA team to coordinator trainings.
3. Work on MLK Day of Service Project.
4. Support member retention by providing, as needed, daily guidance, information,
attention, and resources in order to help team members overcome on-site barriers that may lead to early termination. Identify serious issues that require assistance from Program Manager.
5. Work with staff and supervisor to identify small organizations that would benefit
from VISTA and Campus Compact support
