Description

The NOCAC No Hit Zone Community Outreach VISTA will build capacity to reduce the most prevalent risk factor for child abuse, corporal punishment, and other risk factors related to physical and sexual abuse including sexting and knowledge about laws to reduce risk of adult poverty in children who have been abused. The VISTA will utilize marketing, social media, websites, and creative formats to engage key informants and the community on the harmfulness and ineffectiveness of corporal punishment and on laws related to sexual abuse involving teenagers and adolescents.
