Description

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of local middle school students? Become an AmeriCorps member and run a mentoring program at a local middle school during the 2023-2024 school year!

Each AmeriCorps member will serve in a local middle school providing one-on-one and group social-emotional support to 15-25 chronically absent students throughout the school day. 20, 30, and 40 hr/week positions available that begin on August 28, 2023, and end on June 30, 2024.

AmeriCorps Members will earn the following living allowance and education award:

20 Hours / Week: $12,250 living allowance and $3,447.50 education award
30 Hours / Week: $17,150 living allowance and $4,826.50 education award
40 Hours / Week: $24,500 living allowance and $6,895.00 education award

Scheduling flexibility available for weekday work to accommodate other life responsibilities like school, family, or other part-time employment.

All AmeriCorps members are required by OSPI to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
