Description

Meeting Street Academy serves students that live in poverty in Spartanburg, SC. Often, these children are not prepared to enter the classroom. You will work with Meeting Street Academy staff to develop and coordinate the Raising A Reader program for preschool classes. You will also create and implement parenting workshops to encourage early literacy skill development in the home. You will develop marketing and educational materials to distribute to families in high needs areas in order to help prepare children for the 3K program. You will also collaborate with community partners to research, create, and implement community workshops.
