Americorps SolarCorps Residential Project Management Fellow

The SolarCorps Project Management Fellow will learn what it takes to put a solar system on a residential solar project from start to end. The fellow will also serve directly on GRID's low-income solar installation projects, helping complete all aspects of installation including system design, permitting, installation of solar panel systems, approval, and utility interconnection.

Service Activities

● Learn to evaluate solar potential, construct-ability, utility bill analysis, financial analysis, policy and solar design for affordable multifamily buildings
● Develop solar-related educational materials for affordable housing owners
● Assist in processing solar incentive paperwork and managing application processes
● Help with scheduling and preparing for site visits, inspections, and service calls
● Help organize and maintain project information in Salesforce

Community Need Addressed

Lack of access to solar by communities most impacted by climate change.
