The SolarCorps Commercial Design Fellow will work directly with the Director of Engineering to support technical assistance services for larger scale clean energy projects. The position is primarily remote office-based technical support although there may be opportunities to visit sites or installations and learn about system installation. For the right, highly motivated individual, this position will provide exposure to commercial design.

Service Activities

Support technical assistance services for multifamily, commercial, and larger scale projects including design, permitting, and utility interconnection
Identify Jurisdictional permitting requirements
Review and identify issues with preliminary system designs
Create single-line diagrams and review automated design reporting
Help conduct site visits to screen potential sites for solar access and safety issues
Review and update project information for completeness and accuracy
