Project Advance AmeriCorps will engage 16 AmeriCorps members to serve 11 month service terms, from September 2017 through July 2018, at several locations throughout Cincinnati, including Price Hill and several Hispanic communities (bi-lingual Spanish speaking applicants welcome!).
Do I get paid? Yes! A living stipend of $12,630 (11-month service term , paid bi-monthly), health insurance, twice monthly professional training, PLUS the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award of $5,815 toward college costs, awarded after the service term, *if age 55 or older, education award is transferrable to your children or grandchildren.
Applications are accepted until all positions are filled; service begins on Sept. 1, 2017
Position opportunities include:
Health Navigators provide health service support & education to those with little access to health care. Provide direct service at public clinics, and/or school based clinics. Manage health education workshops & events targeted for urban neighborhoods. Spanish speaking applicants welcome!!!
