The HR Specialist coordinates and provides operational support for the national HR department. The HR Specialist’s main focus is capacity building assignments to improve efficiency, ensure documentation of key HR processes, and support org-wide projects that drive our Racial, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (REDI) efforts.

Service Activities

Assist with various HR projects and functions from recruitment to onboarding, offboarding, and everything that happens in between.

Assist the internal team with executing on the operational plan for the organization’s commitment to Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Own the management of our portion of the internal intranet and lead on the creation of how-to guides and trainings (brief video clips, short “teach me in five” documents with screenshots, etc.) for new hires and staff.

Participate in direct service through tutoring.
