American Red Cross in New York State Programs

American Red Cross Disaster Resiliency Corps

The American Red Cross Disaster Resiliency Corps (ARCDRC) program is tasked with providing individual and community disaster resiliency throughout the State of New York by educating individuals on the importance of disaster preparedness and home fire safety education. The ARCDRC program also engages AmeriCorps members with helping the American Red Cross with its own disaster response preparedness by developing supply, storage, distribution, shelter, and other logistics planning for effective and rapid response in all ten New York State Regions of Service.
