Description
The Resource Assistance for Rural Environments (RARE) Program, an AmeriCorps Program administered through the University of Oregon’s Community Service Center, has a mission to increase the capacity of rural communities to improve their economic, social, and environmental conditions, through the assistance of trained graduate-level members who live and serve in communities for 11 months (a minimum of 1,700 hours). Members will serve in capacity building positions in rural Oregon.
