The VISTA member will perform the functions of communications and community outreach to promote the wellness of children and families and enhance the infrastructure of communication between children/families and the community that serves them. Our member will update and maintain current health and wellness information as well as promote access to these services. Participation in health and wellness collaborative meetings and outreach activities (social marketing, community events, etc.) to educate the community on the NOC and increase traffic to the site are a must. Developing curricula, recruiting, and training volunteers for the project is another component which includes creating a volunteer assessment rubric and developing relationships with agencies that sponsor and/or provide opportunities for job experience to assist in recruitment of volunteers.

Finding new partners to participate in the Network of Care program, recruiting volunteers, and leveraging in-kind resources.
