LifeBridge AmeriCorps members will work directly with students with the AmeriCorps member acting as the mentor. AmeriCorps members will work with students individually and in small groups to provide homework assistance, academic and general support to the students.

Community Need Addressed

Education Corps mentor students Birth-12th Grade in age appropriate activities to increase literacy skills, improve academic performance, and provide academic supports and services.

Position Outcomes

Students receiving LifeBridge AmeriCorps interventions will demonstrate improved academic engagement and performance.
